Isaac Young is an award winning pianist, saxophonist, and producer known for his work with the bands No Mind and P(x3). A graduate of the prestigious Hartt School of music, Young has performed and toured in over 40 states across the country and has played and collaborated with many luminaries including Lew Soloff (Blood Sweat and Tears), Corey Glover (Living Colour), Rick Derringer (Edgar Winter Group), multi-platinum band The Box Tops, The Buckinghams, Eddie Montilla (Eminem, DJ Khaled, Lil’ Wayne, Two Chainz), members of the band Lettuce, Goose, and Kung Fu, in addition to countless others. Young has also performed at some of the most premiere venues including The Blue Note, Daryl’s House, The Kate, Bergen Performing Arts Center, as well as many major festivals in the region. Young is also credited with a series of commercial work ranging from Marvel Comics, The Hallmark Channel, BET, and others. When Young isn’t touring or working in his studio, he is a full-time educator and clinician. With over 14 years teaching experience, his approach showcases his expertise in improvisation, composition, and synthesis, encompassing a wide-array of genre and stylistic approaches catered to students of all skill-sets and levels.
